Cookie Policy
Last updated 31 July 2026
This explains how the calmbackwithgem.co.uk website uses cookies. The short version: our analytics is cookieless, and the only optional cookie tool (the Meta Pixel) loads only if you accept it on the cookie banner. This policy works alongside our Privacy Notice.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They can help sites remember things about your visit, and they can be used to track people across sites.
What this site does
We measure how the site is used with Ahrefs Web Analytics, a cookieless tool. It sets no cookies on your device, stores no personal data, and does not track you across sites. It needs no consent, so it is not part of the banner.
We also use one optional tool: the Meta Pixel, which helps us see whether our Facebook and Instagram ads work. It sets cookies and shares data with Meta Platforms, so it is strictly opt-in. It loads only after you press Accept on the cookie banner. If you press No thanks, or ignore the banner, it never loads and no Meta cookies are set.
Your choice is remembered in your browser (localStorage, not a cookie). To change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
If you interact with embedded third-party content (for example, a booking calendar), that third party may set its own cookies, governed by its own policy.
How to control cookies in your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies through its settings. Search "manage cookies" plus your browser name (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, or Edge). Deleting this site’s data also resets your cookie banner choice.
If this changes
If we ever add another tool that needs cookies, we will update this policy first and add it to the consent banner before any non-essential cookie is set.
